How did you get into the world of promotional products?
When I moved to Vancouver I was given the opportunity to work as an admin and sales assistant for Promosapien. I was so excited to be able to work with this team and get hands-on experience with apparels, bags, bottles and accessories. I think it’s really cool and interesting to see what clients are creating and how these are being designed.
What’s your day-to-day look like at Promosapien?
I start my day with reggae music to get vibes going, I check in with my productions staff, check emails, invoice customers, Snack break, arrange shipping and receiving products, take product photos for social, order samples, RA samples, Lunch break, enter accounts payables/receivables, Send follow up emails. change music to dancehall, invoice more clients, Check in with staff, end of day have a beer (but only on Fridays 🙂
What’s the best part about working in promotional products?
Hands on experience, helping clients and giving them the best customer service.
Do you have a favourite GO-TO promo product?
Hats
Why is it your go-to?
I love hats, easily seen, customizable, OSFA and can be worn with anything.
What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen with a logo on it?
Pom pom gloves I believe was for a corporate sports event.
Do you have a favourite promo product?
Castelli Journals, I love to sketch and write songs, ideas etc
Everyone at Promosapien has a nick name. What’s yours?
I’m the “O” in Promosapien because I do double the work.
When you’re not at Promosapien, where can you be found?
I can be found at home playing with my kid or at the studio dancing or recording music.
